In Matthew 25, Jesus paints an interesting picture of God\u2019s judgment. On\u00a0one side are those who clothed the naked, fed the hungry, and visited the\u00a0imprisoned. On the other side are those who did not engage in those kinds\u00a0of activities. Paraphrasing, Jesus says, \u201cWhatever you did for the least of\u00a0these, you did for me. Whatever you did not do for the least of these, you\u00a0did not do for me.\u201d<\/p>\n
For the past few years, CTPC has opened its doors a couple time each\u00a0month to feed those who are without food. A faithful team of volunteers\u00a0has been helping out with this ministry. \u00a0As is the case with many commitments, some of the people who have been doing this for a long time are\u00a0stepping down and taking a break. This forced us to make a decision \u2013 we\u00a0either stop our involvement with the program altogether, or we find a way\u00a0to continue.<\/p>\n
The folks who wish to continue have decided (with the concurrence of the\u00a0session) that we will commit to one evening per month \u2013 the first Saturday. \u00a0Right now we have two teams helping out.
